Meet Dr. Brodsky

As a board-certified physician with more than three decades in practice, Neil Brodksy, MD, is an expert in gastroenterology. Dr. Brodsky welcomes new and existing patients to Palmadessa and Brodsky Gastroenterology Associates in Douglaston, New York.

After completing his Bachelor of Arts at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Dr. Brodsky was accepted into medical school. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the prestigious New York University (NYU) School of Medicine in New York City.   

Dr. Brodsky completed an internship and two residency programs, including an internal medicine residency, through the NYU Medical Center in Queens (now NYU Langone Health). Because Dr. Brodsky wanted to specialize in gastroenterology and gain additional experience in integrative treatment solutions, he went through additional fellowship training.

Dr. Brodsky completed a comprehensive gastroenterology fellowship at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. He then finished an advanced hepatology fellowship at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.

To ensure he’s current with the latest advancements in medical research, Dr. Brodsky maintains his board certification in gastroenterology through the American Board of Internal Medicine. He also maintains professional memberships with such organizations as the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. 

Dr. Brodsky is an attending physician at several state-of-the-art hospitals, including North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and New York-Presbyterian Queens. He’s actively involved in teaching gastroenterology fellows at these institutions. Dr. Brodsky even holds a faculty appointment as a clinical assistant professor of medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine at Cornell University in New York City.
